Five Themes (2014) 5 min. 16mm B&W reversal film –
Under the condition of anonymity, a single word to describe the filmmaker was provided. Over the course of five days, footage was then shot, in direct response to the selections. A sound designer was later brought on to support the visuals.
Preconceived (2012) 11 min. HD video –
While undertaking very personal subject matter – as shown through our anticipation of the birth of our first child – my wife and I assume the roles of both maker and subject, in a manner that utilizes several devious filmic strategies. In doing so we challenge the parameters of the motion picture medium and illustrate that the construction of this (or any) film is not unlike our forging of our unborn child's identity.
One Last Mass (2011) 17 min. HD video –
This fictionalized-documentary revolves around the closing of the filmmaker’s childhood church and his futile attempts to get inside one last time, in order to hold his own version of a Roman Catholic mass.

Along with homeownership comes responsibility and subsequently, a great deal of ambivalence. This is compounded by the reality that the homeowner & filmmaker’s property value has depreciated nearly $60,000 in the past year alone.

The future of Providence looks grim. Empty promises of “the Dream” are far from kept. At least we have organic jicama, available at the farmer’s market, to look forward to.

Drawing from the filmmaker’s own vast collection of neckwear – as well as Kenneth Anger’s Scorpio Rising – live action, stop motion and direct film techniques culminate in a personal exploration that ponders an offer of corporate employment.

A DJ finds a set of turntables and a crate of old funk 45’s in a pile of detritus. After getting situated, he discovers there is more to his find than perhaps he anticipated.
