MFA-educated filmmaker, educator and writer, Evan Villari is wholly dedicated to making, teaching and perpetually pondering the practice of picture making.  He describes his work as autobiographic documentary, with an experimental edge, that explores the big picture through his own small pictures.

Whether shot on celluloid or digitally, as a documentary, experimental or narrative – or some hybrid of the three – EV truly enjoys producing moving pictures.

With two decades of experience teaching film/video/cinema studies at the undergraduate-level, it is safe to say EV is no stranger to the classroom.

Thoughtful wordplay and cordial flippancy are what motivates EV's writing.  From attention-grabbing copy, to short stories, to crowd-sourced reviews, words are fun .
